The Capitol Hill neighborhood is named after Denver's Capital Building, which indeed sits atop a hill. Capitol Hill is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Denver. The neighborhood is located southeast of the central business district and street boundaries are Broadway, Downing Street, Colfax Avenue and Sixth Avenue.
